We like to know where our seeds come from, how they are planted, under what conditions they grow, how they are harvested, when and who packs them, and where they go. All of our farms bear potatoes, each farm offering something a trivial different. One of Fresh Zealand’s favorite vegetables, the potato is a trusty staple to any meal. Traditionally grown outside of Japan destined for the Japanese market, squash has many names Kabocha, Japanese pumpkin in Australia, Kabocha squash in North America. With its nutrient wealthy volcanic soil and hot lenient climate, Pukekohe is a great area for growing vegetables.
Then, as the days get shorter and the nights get colder, our cauliflower and cabbage is ready for harvesting. Our fleet is equipped with GP and fleet management solutions that provides a strong tool for vehicle management. We grow most of our carrots here, along with potatoes destined for consumers’ pantries. We grow potatoes destined for processing as healthy as onions and squash, harvested over summer.
We grow the powerful Fresh Zealand pumpkin on our Onewhero farm, which has nutrient wealthy soils and a free draining, gentle contour, vital ingredients for prosperous pumpkin plants. Once the cabbage starts to get soft retain adding until the entire cabbage is used. These golden colored potatoes make a pretty fluffy mash, excellent chips and crisps, perfect for baking and roasting. Add a small honey to the fry pan and you’ll have yourself a lovely side dish.
This a relatively new production area based on granular, nutrient wealthy soil, making for fresh soil, strong plant growth and even fresher vegetables. In Fresh Zealand supermarkets you will see them displayed as Buttercup squash. Taste test the cabbage flavor has to be overpowered by the aroma of cloves and sweet apple juice 10. The area has built a difficult reputation for producing top quality new vegetables and we do our superior to maintain that. Our philosophy at Ball Bros is to have a definite impact on our environments, so that coming generations can appreciate them as we have.
Containing a well dose of vitamin C and soluble fiber, it makes a vast accompaniment to any iron wealthy red meat
