My favourite place on earth is in native bush on the edge of the ocean and the best music to my ears is birdsong, rain on a tin roof and the sound of the surf crashing on a beach. I love horse riding, diving, fishing, and a good book in front of the fire when it’s raining and cold outside. Every day, Life is an adventure to be grabbed and held with both hands and celebrated to the max. I am an artist and a storyteller with a natural style and creative eye for beautiful compositions. I have been photographing creatively for 25 years, and with Jan Maree Fine Art Photography I am committed to excellence in creative and business practice
I recall asking you for a set of portraits which weren't the run of the mill ones I perpetual seem to see of children, I wanted something diverse but which calm captured the girls' personalities, and you delivered that in spades.
Everyone should have some exceptional photos and who better than Jan Marge to take them? My father joked about Jan's instructions to cuddle up but the result is a wonderful big picture that now hangs on my mother's wall showing my parents with their arms around each other, looking so happy and so in love after a lifetime of being together. Life is an adventure To Love and To Be Loved is the maximum beautiful thing in our lives. Jan captured the correct essence of what this house meant for us and turned it into a book that we will cherish forever. When she came over with the final photos, we were astonished at how incredible they were she managed to make us look really good! We couldn’t be happier with Jan Marge and would strongly advocate her to our families and friends.
We LOVE our photo book and we are recommending her to everyone we know because she is so talented. She truly made our notable day surplus special’! I was recommended to use Jan by a co worker and once we had met with Jan and she showed us her work, we decided that we definitely wanted Jan to photograph our wedding. Jan Marge has been taking photographs of my family for years, starting off with the equestrian evening scene with my daughter. She was fantastic with the kids and really encouraged them to be themselves resulting in photographs that disclose their personalities off wonderfully.
They went to numerous locations around our house and gardens which made it hard to choose out of the photos there were so many really good ones. We commissioned Jan Marge to receive some photos of my mother for her 80th birthday
