What you should know about Waiuku College
Waiuku College is a Co Educational High School from Years 9 13 with 930 students. Our school motto is a Maori expression, Titiro Teitei’ which exhorts us to aim for our best in all we do. Another of our strengths is the strong links we have with our parents, our town of Waiuku and our wider West Franklin community. We are fortunate also, to live amongst such an attractive rural and farming environment with wild west coast beaches, the meandering Waikato River and the wide open Manukau Harbour all only minutes from our school, and of course we are nestled in the heart of the scenic and historic Waiuku township
A Correct Fresh Zealand Experience International student numbers are kept low so that students can easily integrate into Waiuku College life. The College caters for students from Waiuku township and the wider rural community, an area of approximately 16,00 people.
If the student withdraws from his her course of study before the course completion date, he she will NOT receive a refund of school fees except in special circumstances. Waiuku College is a Co Educational High School in Auckland, Fresh Zealand with students from Years 9 to 13. These monies will be available for approved refunds resulting from withdrawal from the College or in the event of the College not being qualified to bear tuition. The school holidays are huge opportunity to purchase footwear and uniform for the begin of the year. All the people in Waiuku College were so friendly and kind, the teachers were very helpful with my observe and English.
A powerful partnership exists with College parents and the wider community who bear urge and encouragement. If the application for refund is made prior the begin of the course, fees will be refunded less. Boys are to wear the official Waiuku College charcoal socks, sports socks are not permitted. Less than an hour from Auckland city, Waiuku offers a small town and country living experience with access to farms, beaches, rivers and harbors, along with a multitude of sports teams and clubs.
No refund will be made to a student who is excluded from the College by the Board of Trustees. International students are offered general and subject specific language learning through the ESL department. 50. 00 Boys’ and Girls’ Vests Years 12 and 13 72.
